Today is World Teacher’s Day. On this day, we recognize all education professionals for the dedicated work they do to facilitate learning, spread knowledge, to support us both within and outside of the classroom, and for all they do to push us to be curious and excel in all facets of our lives. Wildcats, we encourage you to take the time to share your appreciation for our hard working and caring staff. Happy World Teacher’s Day, everyone!

Attention all members of the Royal Canadian Sea, Army and Air cadets!
McMath is looking for cadet volunteers to proudly participate in uniform during the Remembrance Day Assembly on November 10th.  Even if you just joined cadets this year, you are highly encouraged to participate!  We also need some senior cadets to fill the lead roles.  We know there are a lot of cadets at McMath and there is strength in numbers! Interested in joining a science team?  There will be an information session about the Kwantlen Science Challenge, for all grades, and the UBC Physics Olympics.  The meeting is at the beginning of lunch today in Mr. Thiessen’s room B219. 

Hey Wildcats, if you picked up a yellow expression of interest form at the choir meeting last week, please return it to Mme. L’Abbe in C202 or in her box at the office as soon as possible as numbers are needed for planning.  If you did not pick up a form but are interested in joining choir, please come pick up a form from Mme. L’Abbé in C202 and get ready to sing and have fun! Rehearsals will start next week, so stay tuned!

Any boys in grade 10, 11 & 12 wanting to play basketball this year, there are open gym/practices Tuesday and Thursday at 7:30 pm.
 
Are you interested in theatre?  Do you enjoy hanging around the drama room?  Are you free to audition after school on Tuesday, October 10th?  Come try out for this year’s school play, “Our Place” by Terry Gabbard.  The audition sign-up sheet will be posted outside the drama room.  See you there!
