World Teachers' Day is celebrated across the world annually on October 5 to highlight the achievements of educators and the important part they play in the future of every generation.  This year's theme is "The Teachers We Need for the Education We Want: The global imperative to reverse the teacher shortage."  This theme highlights the shortage of qualified teachers around the world and will focus on celebrating and enhancing the prestige of the teaching profession.

On this day, and everyday, we recognize all education professionals for the dedicated work they do to facilitate learning, spread knowledge, to support us both within and outside of the classroom, and for all they do to push us to be curious and excel in all facets of our lives.
