On Friday, November 10th, the McMath community will be observing Remembrance Day with in-school ceremonies. In honour of the importance of this day, where possible, we encourage students and staff to participate in “formal attire day”. If you are able, we encourage you to dress more formally in recognition of this sombre observance. Thank you for your consideration.”

Attention all Students!  Block Rotation! Starting Tuesday, November 14^th our blocks will rotate.  The block rotation will be B-A-D-C.  Tuesday we will have PLT and then B-A-D-C.  Please make sure you know where to go Tuesday morning!

Student Council’s annual food drive is starting next week starting Tuesday, November 14^th to November 24^th!  During your Block A classes, bring any non-perishable food or monetary donations to support your local food bank. Bring specific food items on Tuesday and Thursdays to earn extra points!  Our first bonus day is next Tuesday, Tuna Tuesday, bring any canned meat to earn bonus points!

For the first time since 2018, the McMath Jr. Girls Volleyball team have won the Richmond City Championships. They beat Richmond Christian School Eagles in a thrilling 4-set match. The Jr. Girl Wildcats were the only team to be undefeated during regular season play and added the RSSAA Championship Trophy to a perfect season. The team will now focus their efforts to the South Fraser Zones to be held next weekend in Surrey. Congratulations and Good Luck Wildcats!!

Wildcat Nation! Come on out and support the Senior Girls Volleyball team as they play in the Richmond Cup Finals tonight! The game is at Richmond Christian School at 7:30 pm! Go Wildcats!

The McMath Senior Boys Volleyball team are once again the Richmond City Champions! In front of a packed gym at McRoberts Secondary, the Wildcats were victorious against the McRoberts Strikers in a tightly contested match. A huge thank you for all the fans who made it out!

The South Fraser Zone Championships are happening next week as the Senior Boys look to qualify for the Provincial Championships! Go Wildcats!

Attention all Senior Girls’ basketball players - the final tryout will be next Monday evening November 13^th at 7:00 pm.  This is for all girls in Grades 10-12 who are interested in playing Senior Girls basketball this year.  There is no school on Monday, but the gym will be open Monday night.  If you have not yet been to a tryout session, you must attend so the coaches can see if you are interested in playing this year.  All are welcome to come Monday night at 7:00 pm!

Attention Jr. and Sr. Boys’ Basketball team!  Today’s practice time changed from 7:30 pm to 4:30 pm.  Team roster and next week’s schedule to be posted on Mr. Acob’s window.

McMath Concert Choir Members!  Practice today at lunch in A111 to finalize details and rehearse for the Remembrance Day assembly tomorrow.  Bring your lunch and see you on the risers!

Reminder to Costa Rica Students to bring any prizes collected to Ms. Schiefer by the end of the week.  Additionally, we will have a meeting Tuesday, November 14^th at 8:40 a.m. during PLT.
