Student Notices February 20, 2024

If you did not receive a Course Planning sheet on Conference Day, please attend to the office to pick up.  Full instructions for Program Planning are on the McMath website under “Students” top tab.

Social Justice 12 students would like to encourage McMath to celebrate Black History Month and will be sharing biographies of important African Canadians all February. 

Julie Black is a black and Canadian singer songwriter and actress. Toronto born, she is one the 25th greatest singers ever in Canadian history and has been dubbed the Canadian queen of R&B. With her music she has collaborated with many other artists and has been nominated for a Juno award.

Grade 10, 11 and 12 students, great news!  The deadline to apply to the Youth Academy has been extended to Thursday, February 29th at 4:00 pm.  The application is available through your counsellor or Career Advisor and is also posted on the SD38 Career Programs website.  Don’t miss this opportunity! 

Attention Grade 8-10 Rugby Players, our first practices are this WEEK.  We have practices on Wednesday February 21 and Thursday February 22 from 3:15 to 4:30 pm.   ALL players must have a mouth guard and cleats.  Dress for the weather.  Any questions, ask Mr. J.
For Senior Boys, we are still looking into have enough players for this season.  Decision this week.
