Your teen's Semester 2 Learning Update (Midterm) has now been PUBLISHED to the My Education Parent Portal on April 19th.

We encourage parents to sit down with their teen to read and discuss the progress report. To access the Parent Portal, please go to:https://myeducation.gov.bc.ca/aspen/logon.do

Please see the attachment to access the step-by-step instructions for logging into the My Education BC site. Please DO NOT use a mobile device/phone, only use a desktop or laptop to access the Parent Portal. DO NOT login with the BC Services Card.

If you are having difficulties with logging in, please send an e-mail to: mcmath@sd38.bc.ca.

To view the document, click the "Pages" top tab and on the bottom right under "Published Reports", you will find the PDF Learning Update. It is recommended that you save the document as the Learning Update is only posted on the Parent Portal for a limited time (3-weeks).

PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCE BOOKING

Parents/Guardians with concerns are invited to make appointments to meet with their teen’s teachers during Parent Teacher Conferences on April 24th from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and April 25th from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 6:00 – 8:00 pm.

To book a Parent/Teacher Conference, please go to the school appointments website: https://mcmath.schoolappointments.com/

Here, you will be able to create an account and schedule conference appointments for you to meet with your teen's teachers. Accounts are reset each school year so all parents/guardians will need to create a new account if you did not do so in November 2023. For instructions on how to set up your account and book your appointments, please see attached.

The School Appointment booking system will OPEN at 6:00 pm Friday, April 19, 2024. Booking will END at 4:00 pm Tuesday, April 23, 2024 for Wednesday conferences and end at 4:00 pm Wednesday, April 24, 2024 for Thursday conferences.

All appointments will be held in person at McMath. The appointments will be 8 minutes in length with a 4-minute break in between. Please note, you will need the names of your teen's teachers to book appointments. Time slots available per teacher are limited. If you are unable to book a time slot, we encourage you to reach out to the teacher directly. Teacher e-mail addresses may be found on our school website. https://mcmath.sd38.bc.ca/our-staff
