Wildcats, make sure you fill out the Grade Surveys for the yearbook on the school Instagram page – deadline is this Friday, Jan 10th.
Grade 9/10 and 11 Students. Do you know what you'd like to do for your career? Have you thought of things that could help you prepare for this while you're still in high school? If you are interested in Health Care, Early Childhood Education, and/or Skilled Trades? Come ask your questions at the Career Programs informal Q&A series after school today, Wednesday between 3:00 and 4:00pm on virtual on Zoom. More information can be found on the Career Programs slat board found in the career and counsellors' offices.
Grade 10 Students: All current grade 10 students need to write the mandatory Numeracy Assessment on either January 23rd or 24th, 2025. A schedule is posted outside the office or library. Please check the list to make sure your name is there. If not, please see Mr. Banta as soon as possible.
Students enrolled in FRAL 12 this year are required to sit the
LTF Grad Assessment on January 14, 15 & 16th. Please check the lists posted outside of the office or library to find out when you are scheduled to write the LTF assessment. If your name is missing, please notify Mr. Banta as soon as possible.

The annual Richmond Reading Riot starts Monday January 13th! What is the Reading Riot? Twelve incredible books are going head-to-head and it’s up to you to crown the ultimate winner! Check out any of the 12 featured titles from the library. After finishing your pick, return it to the library staff and fill out a rating slip. Each slip enters you into our weekly prize draws, with more chances to win as you read and rate more books. Stop by the library and learn more!
Hey Interacters! Happy 2025! We will be kicking off the year with our January General Meeting tomorrow, January 9th in the rotunda at 8am. Doors open at 7:45am, and we’ll be going over project updates and an EXCITING new volunteer opportunity! A sweet treat will be waiting for you Thursday morning, so we hope to see you there.
Congratulations to the Sr. Girls Basketball team for their win last night over Palmer! The girls played a really good team game and ended up with a 75-24 victory. The win moves the team to 4-0 on the season in league play. Well done girls - good luck in your tournament in Vancouver this week.
