So far this year, our Link Leaders have met with the Grade 8s twice. The first meeting was held in early September, and in this first meeting, our Link Leaders took the Grade 8s around and had a pizza lunch with them.  In the second meeting, our Link Leaders pulled the Grade 8s from their Humanities 8 class, and they worked on team building and group discussions. From talking with our Grade 8 students, we can confidently say that having a Link Leader as a mentor has been very helpful to them. They enjoyed chatting and sharing their concerns with an older student.  As the year progresses, we will update and provide more evidence on the effectiveness of the Link Crew Program.
