Student Voice Pt 2

It's been three months since the French Immersion department set out to increase student voice and perspective in the creation of learning maps.  During this time, there were a lot of questions from students and parents.  At the start, students asked why are we doing this and what's the point.  They just wanted to see a mark and not have to go through so much work.  Some parents have asked why we use proficiency scales and learning maps when they are so used to seeing a percent.  

For the past month, students have been starting to come around to the idea of using learning maps and being a part of creating these maps.  They found a sense of ownership and responsibility when they were a part of the creation process.
