At our school, we want to use student voices to show that the work that staff do regularly matters a lot to the students. We understand that sometimes teachers may question the significance of their work, and we wanted to address this by directly involving students in expressing their gratitude and appreciation.
To accomplish this, we embarked on a heartfelt project titled "Rekindling The Flame"  We filmed students, asking them to reflect on the staff members who have positively influenced them and to share a personal message of thanks to their teachers. These messages were then compiled into a video.
We showed the video to our dedicated teachers during staff meetings, creating a powerful and emotional experience. Witnessing the genuine gratitude and the positive impact they have made on their students' lives served as a reminder of the meaningful work our teachers do every day.
